His military service was a significant and lifelong feature of Denny's being. In addition to his military service, he worked for, and retired from, Hill Air Force Base.

Denny loved the freedom of riding his Harley, and was passionate about trap shooting, golfing, fishing and hunting. He had a deep and abiding love for friends and family, and savored his time with them.

To friends, family and loved ones, in Denny's own words on parting: "If I don't see you in the future, I'll see you in the pasture."

Dennis is survived by two sons, Steve (Brooke), of Syracuse; Bryan of Texas; his granddaughter, Sierra, also of Texas; one brother, Jerry (Melinda), Riverdale; three sisters: Debbie (Mike) St. James, North Ogden; Pam (Dick) Andrews, West Haven; and Vicki (Steve) Harkleroad, North Ogden. He was preceded in death by his parents.

The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff at Stonehenge for the kind care and comfort provided to Dennis over the past months. He considered Stonehenge his home and grew to love all those around him.
